Privacy policy

Piylo has no user account system, sign-up process, or form that collects personal data. This page describes the limited technical data processed while you browse the site.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically collect certain standard technical data (for example IP address, browser type, pages viewed) for security and service-operation purposes. Piylo itself does not build an individual user profile from this data.

Piylo uses Vercel Analytics, an anonymised analytics tool that does not set a cookie and does not track individual users from one visit to the next. It only produces aggregated traffic statistics.

Some features (your comparison selection, your comparison history, your saved product list) are stored only in your browser's local storage ("localStorage"). This data stays on your device, is never sent to Piylo or to any third party, and is removed if you clear your browser data.

When you click a link to a partner retailer (for example Amazon), you leave Piylo and become subject to that retailer's own privacy policy. Piylo does not control the data-collection practices of these third-party sites.

Piylo does not sell any personal data. The only data transmissions described above relate to the site's technical hosting (Vercel) and anonymised analytics (Vercel Analytics).

Because Piylo does not collect identifiable personal data via a form or an account, there is currently no individual profile to view, correct or delete. If this changes, this page will be updated to describe how to exercise your rights.

This page may be updated to reflect any real change in how Piylo technically operates. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page.
